DELETE Requests the server to delete specified resources, for example, an object. HEAD Same as GET except that the server must return only the response header. PATCH Requests the server to update partial content of a specified resource.
Deleting Media Files To delete one or more media files, select them in the media list and click Delete above the list. Once deleted, all related resources, including the source file, transcoded file, and snapshot file, will be deleted permanently. The operation cannot be undone.

Media file management You can transcode, pre-load, categorize, export, and delete media files, and cancel transcoding. You can extract audio from video files. You can upload a thumbnail and subtitles for a video file.
For example, some software developers in your enterprise need to use VOD but are not allowed to delete VOD resources or perform any high-risk operations. To this end, you can create IAM users for the software developers and assign them only the permissions for using VOD.
