Enhanced Huawei Cloud LATAM Ecosystem: Building a Digital Cloud Foundation to Amplify Intelligence Across Industries

From March 25 to 26, the Huawei Cloud Latin America Ecosystem Partner Summit 2025 took place in Cartagena, Colombia, with the theme "Onboard and Onward: Shared Success with a Better Cloud". The summit announced latest partner solutions and three enhanced ecosystem capabilities, aiming to strengthen the GoCloud and GrowCloud ecosystem programs and accelerate the intelligent transformation across various industries in the AI era.
Ken Kang, President of Huawei Cloud Global Ecosystem, delivered an opening speech, expressing the company's commitment to serving Latin America with proven experience of Huawei and global partners in innovation and digital transformation. He affirmed the significance of cloud computing in promoting the digital economy across the continent, and shared the success stories of Huawei Cloud and partners in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and other countries. Mr. Kang stressed, "We hope that Huawei Cloud can help more customers and partners in Latin America achieve intelligent transformation more easily and quickly."

Mark Chen, President of Huawei Cloud Latin America, highlighted five pivotal industry trends: virtualization migration to the cloud, SAP on cloud, AI, big data upgrade, and mainframe modernization. As these sectors undergo transformative change, they present lucrative opportunities for partners to expand their business. Huawei Cloud boasts an extensive portfolio of success stories across high-stakes industries such as finance, public services, carrier, media, fintech, e-commerce and retail. Building on this momentum, Huawei Cloud will continue to work with SIs and ISVs to establish industry benchmarks and drive growth through partner-centered collaboration. At the summit, Huawei Cloud launched the Industry Acceleration Program, calling on more partners to capitalize on emerging industry trends and work with Huawei Cloud to drive intelligent industry upgrade through cloud technologies.

Additionally, Huawei Cloud unveiled three partner support platforms: Latin America Partner Training Center, Latin America Cloud Security Transparency Center, and the Phecda Platform. By aggregating resources and co-developing competencies, Huawei Cloud is poised to deliver more assurance services and technical support for partners.
Industry Acceleration Program Launch
Selina Zuo, Director of Huawei Cloud Latin America Cloud Sales Partner Development, shared the company's progress of partner businesses in the region. As of 2024, Huawei Cloud has developed nearly 2,100 local partners. She also elaborated on Huawei Cloud's partner-centered localized market strategies and three enhancements in Latin America. These strategies include a Go-to-Market (GTM) platform, which promotes joint sales, industry-specific campaigns, and partner enablement; and upskilling services, which cover technical training, joint innovation, and market support.

At the summit, Huawei Cloud and partners jointly launched Partner Sales Acceleration Program 2.0 to facilitate business success for partners on Huawei Cloud.

Jacky Chen, Director of Huawei Cloud Latin America Cloud Marketing & Solution Sales, delivered a speech titled "Accelerate Success with Better Solutions", highlighting Huawei Cloud's commitment to staying at the forefront of the five industry trends. He introduced eight innovative solutions, categorized into basic ones for all partners and advanced ones designed to foster specialized expertise. Among the noteworthy announcements were four new scenario-specific solutions: Backup & Disaster Recovery Continuity Center Solution, Cloud Multilayer Ransomware Protection Solution, Flexus cloud service series with multiplied performance and experience, and DeepSeek + Huawei Cloud.

Another highlight of the event was the sharing of success stories with Huawei Cloud by local customers and partners including StarkCloud, KIO, Restart, Think IT, Neogrid, and Artificial Dynamics, solidifying their commitment to long-term partnership with Huawei Cloud for mutual benefits and shared success.
