Huawei Cloud GaussDB(DWS) ranked No.1 in China's cloud data warehouse market thanks to its leading technologies and outstanding market performance, according to the China Semiannual Related Database Management Software Market Tracker - Data Warehouse Add-on released by International Data Corporation (IDC), a global IT market research and consulting firm. In their report, IDC noted, "Huawei Cloud started out early to provide cloud-based and on-premises data warehouses, and got a head start with their lakehouse solution in the market in China. With years of service experience in serving companies and institutions, Huawei Cloud also grew rapidly in finance, telecom, and government & enterprise sectors." In H2 2022, the data warehouse market in China reached US$470 million, with a year-on-year increase of 17.5%. GaussDB(DWS) has ranked No. 1 in the local deployment market for two consecutive years, and its market share reached 19.6% in H2 2022, the highest among assessed vendors.
