Huawei Cloud Recognized in the 2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services

In October, Gartner® released the 2022 Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services (CIPS). Huawei Cloud was recognized in the Magic Quadrant for its Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.
In the past year, Huawei Cloud adhered to the Everything as a Service strategy and released new cloud services and upgraded capabilities based on Infrastructure as a Service, Technology as a Service, and Expertise as a Service. Up to now, Huawei Cloud has released more than 240 cloud services. Huawei Cloud has launched new Regions in Ireland and Indonesia. By the end of this year, Huawei Cloud and partners will operate 75 availability zones (AZs) in 29 Regions around the world, covering more than 170 countries and regions.
In Asia Pacific, Huawei Cloud is the fastest growing mainstream public cloud provider. It is the No. 3 provider in Thailand and No. 4 in Asia-Pacific emerging markets. Huawei Cloud has served more than 20 financial customers, 100 government customers, and 170 Internet and cloud native valued customers in the region. In 2021, the number of high-value customers increased by over 150%, as did the revenue of Huawei Cloud partners. Huawei Cloud has become one of the best partners for enterprises seeking digital transformation.
In Latin America, Huawei Cloud is the No. 4 cloud service provider, with the most nodes and the fastest response for local services. Huawei Cloud has been launching more than 40 services a year, making itself the cloud provider with the fastest rollout speed. Huawei Cloud has served more than 60 financial enterprises, 200 media customers, 100 retail companies, and 200 SAP on Cloud customers in this region. In 2021, the number of users more than doubled and the number of partners increased by over 90%.
In Africa, Huawei Cloud is the world's first cloud service provider to operate local data centers in South Africa. It provides cloud services for 12 African countries and is the fastest growing cloud provider in the region. Huawei Cloud actively develops partners in more than 30 African countries, covering government, carrier, finance, manufacturing, education, retail, and logistics, helping to cultivate a healthy cloud ecosystem.
Huawei Cloud has earned the respect of a large number of customers from government, finance, and manufacturing sectors around the world, serving more than 220 financial customers, 700 e-Government clouds, 30 top automobile manufacturers, and 120 carriers. In the Internet industry, Huawei Cloud provides industry-leading cloud native services, combined with technological innovation and cloud-cloud collaboration, to accelerate the growth of Internet customers. Huawei Cloud works with many leading Internet enterprises and serves 80% of China's top 50 Internet companies. In addition, Huawei Cloud actively explores new services in industries such as new energy, drug research, and genetics, joining with customers and partners to navigate the path forward in digital transformation and application modernization.
