Huawei Cloud Firewall Service Statement
By using Huawei Cloud's Cloud Firewall (hereinafter referred to as "CFW" or "the Service"), you are considered to fully understand and have agreed to the terms of this statement.
1. Service Content
CFW provides basic network protection at Internet and VPC borders on the cloud, including real-time intrusion detection and prevention, access control, traffic analysis and visualization, log audit and analysis, and elastic scaling.
2. Data Collection
2.1 Objects Collected
1) To locate and analyze network traffic problems for O&M purposes, you agree to authorize us to capture packets from network traffic you have specified.
2) To analyze the original packets of malicious traffic for O&M purposes, you agree to authorize us to collect network traffic. The collected information will be used only for you.
2.2 Data Protection
Your data is protected by taking multiple measures, including but not limited to access control and storage encryption.
Huawei Cloud shall not share, transfer, or disclose your information without your prior consent unless otherwise required by applicable laws and regulations.
You have the right to access, modify, change, and delete the above information. If you have any questions about exercising your rights, submit a service ticket on the Huawei Cloud website.
3. Representations and Warranties
3.1 Representations by Both Parties
You understand and agree that your use of the Service must comply with applicable laws and regulations. We only provide a standard service upon your requests and are not responsible for the legal compliance of your use.
3.2 Warranties
1) You promise that the information you provide for using CFW is authentic, accurate, legal, and valid. If the information you provide violates this warranty or the terms of this Statement, you shall be held liable for any and all consequences, including but not limited to protection failures or disputes with third parties.
2) By using Huawei Cloud CFW, you agree to this statement and authorize Huawei Cloud to perform security checks on your traffic and handle malicious requests. For more information about the service content of CFW, see the Cloud Firewall User Guide.
3) You understand and agree that CFW may cause risks to your system, including service interruptions, data loss, or data leakage, and Huawei is not liable for such events. You agree to back up data before using CFW.
3.3 Our Conditional Warranty
1) You understand and agree that all the identified security risks and recommended fixes in CFW reports are provided for your reference only, and may not resolve all security issues.
2) Huawei Cloud promises to continuously improve service quality, but cannot guarantee that CFW is free of defects and can detect all security vulnerabilities and risks. You understand and agree that any defects or failures shall not be regarded as a breach of contract by Huawei Cloud.
3) You understand and agree that CFW uses out-of-path detection and interception technologies and cannot intercept all network traffic due to known technical constraints in the industry. The occurrence of this situation shall not be regarded as a breach of contract by Huawei Cloud.
4. Notification and Update
You understand and agree that we may update this Statement based on changes in our services and/or policies. If such changes are made, we will publish the most current version of this Statement on our website, where it takes effect immediately. You are therefore advised to review this Statement periodically for any changes.
If you continue to use the Service after this Statement is updated, you are deemed to have agreed to and accepted the updated Service Statement.
