Yoshinoya equips its new café with Seito's takeaway and online ordering systems, supported by multiple Huawei Cloud services such as Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) and Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR).
ECS provides compute on demand, which allows the ordering system to stay smooth and reduces the operational costs. CBR backs up the service and transaction data for Yoshinoya and Seito so that they can restore data to any point in time in the case of malicious attacks, unexpected deletion, and system faults.
Yoshinoya is highly favored by Hong Kong customers, and there are many takeaway orders during dining hours. Preparation and delivery can be challenging. They also wanted to take a step further for a new customer experience style, so they opened a new Japanese cafe-style location in Tsim Sha Tsui in November, 2022. The new location features a fresh new look with set menus, Japanese fusion dishes, drinks, and digital services that reduce labor costs and serve food in a smart way. Customers scan the QR code to order meals, and get served by food delivery robots.
Solutions
With these cloud services and Seito's systems, Yoshinoya improves operational efficiency and customer experience.
ECS provides secure, on-demand compute resources for the customer's systems to run smoothly at any time.
CBR enables the customer to easily back up ECSs, EVS disks, file systems, and VMware virtual environments, allowing data restore to any point in time whenever needed.
Host Security Service (HSS) is designed to improve the overall security for hosts. It reduces host security risks by managing assets, vulnerabilities, intrusion, and baselines.
