Omdia Universe for Cloud Service Providers: Huawei Cloud Ranks No. 1 in China

Omdia, an authoritative analyst organization, released the report Omdia Universe: Selecting a Cloud Service Provider, 2021–22 ranking of global public cloud providers. Huawei Cloud ranked No. 1 among cloud service providers in China.
The Omdia Universe report is based on strong research on vendors' overall capabilities (X-axis), customer experience (Y-axis), and market presence (bubble size). This report covers IaaS, application PaaS, databases, AI, containers, and edge clouds.
According to the report, Huawei Cloud is the cloud service provider (CSP) with the fastest growth in product capabilities and influence in the world. Its solution breadth score was 94%, which exceeded the 90% required by the leader category. Huawei Cloud also has a leading score of 89% in the customer experience category.

At HUAWEI CONNECT 2021 in September, two new regions were announced and ten new services launched, including MacroVerse aPaaS, OptVerse AI Solver, Huawei Cloud Stack 8.1, Pangu drug molecule model, and SparkRTC. The idea was promoted that the key to digitalization is to think cloud native and act cloud native. Huawei Cloud UCS, the industry's first distributed cloud native product, was also released.
In October 2021, Huawei Cloud released the Cloud Native 2.0 paradigm covering ten aspects: ubiquity, computing, scheduling, network, Internet of Everything (IoE), applications, data, intelligence, security, and enablement. Huawei Cloud also announced a number of new Cloud Native 2.0 products featuring efficient resources, the ultimate experience, all things connected, agile applications, intelligent services, security and trustworthiness, and industry enablement.
By September 2021, Huawei Cloud has launched over 220 cloud services and over 210 solutions, attracted over 2.3 million developers, over 14,000 consulting partners, over 6,000 technical partners, and released more than 4,500 KooGallery products. Huawei Cloud has been working with partners to operate 61 AZs in 27 areas around the world, serving more than 170 countries and regions.
